In addition to being a research assistant at the Everyone Graduates Center, Christopher Boccanfuso is a doctoral student in the sociology department at the University of Maryland and will be graduating in the Spring of 2009. He graduated from St. Joseph’s University in 2002 with a degree in sociology, and received his masters in sociology from the University of Maryland in 2005. His research interests include social-psychological correlates of high school dropouts, student transitions to high school, teacher staffing in high dropout areas, and mixed methodologies.
